First post since I lurk GITM. So, I'll begin: After I read [this](http://www.reddit.com/r/nosleep/comments/omear/the_car_ride_home/), I thought 'it might be a good idea posting this here', or anywhere else, I don't know, you tell me. The first dream's details are fuzzy, I'll get to that. A couple of years ago, I was dating a guy who lived in Hurlingham, city located in Buenos Aires, Argentina. A few months after we broke up, I had this weird dream in which I was the spectator, and I saw a train hitting someone. I was standing about 15 meters from the tracks, and saw people running away from the train, which breaks broke and crashed against the train station. I woke up at about 4am, sweating, with a nosebleed and completely freaked out. I immediately called my ex, and oh surprise, his phone was off. I went back to sleep, thinking that he was sleeping too, and left it at that. When I woke up again, at 12pm, I remembered the dream: I panicked and ran downstairs to get the phone and call my ex again, and my parents were watching the news: They were talking about the accident I had dreamed of. Of course you might think 'well, you might have heard the news while sleeping and your subconscious took it and built a dream around it.' But that couldn't have happened because that accident took place around 10am, and I dreamed it around 3.30am. I tried googling the accident, and all I found was this http://sangreyplomo.blogspot.com/2011/12/se-lo-llevo-el-tren.html (you have to press F3 or Ctrl+F and search for Hurlingham, and you'll see that this is the accident I'm talking about. It says 2011, but the accident was in 2010.) Then last year, I had another dream regarding a train crash. I can remember this one exactly how it happened, and again, I'll get to that. Again, I dreamed of a train accident. I was watching the train, completely trashed, the engine scratched front to back, blood on the tracks. But here's the weird part: in my dream, it happened in my local train station, and in real life it happened somewhere else. Then the dream changed, and I was being pulled from under the motherfucking engine, and I was cut in half, but still alive. I woke up at 5am, crying for my mom like a 5 year old with a bad fever, and then I crashed on my bed and fell asleep. I woke up at 1pm, and went downstairs to have lunch. The news were on, and they were talking about a train wreck in Flores, another city in Buenos Aires: a bus had crossed the railway with the railroad barrier down; a train was leaving the station and it hit the bus, then that train went off the trails, and hit another train which was entering the train station. My eyes were soup bowls by the time the news ended. You can google the accident, and you have the video footage of the train crashing against the bus, and then hitting the incoming train. [Here's the video of the accident, different angles](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wsBqYCCzdrE) A couple of weeks after the Flores train accident, I was talking to a friend about the dream, and then she said 'Moatilliatta, remember last year, when you had the dream about the Hurlingham accident?' Again, soup bowl eyes, as I remembered the Hurlingham accident dream. As soon as I got home, I looked up for any news on that accident, and well, there's the link up there... So, I don't know what to make of this. I've had dreams like 'premonitions' before, and they happened in real life. Maybe I'm having them because I can do something to change things in real life, but I don't know. Sorry for any grammatical mistakes, I've had a few drinks and English isn't my native language. Edit: I would like your opinion on this, whether if it's for changing the subreddit, or if there's any explanation at all of why these kind of things happened to me. Thanks :) more Related argentina train crash videos 2012-05-18:

The first two cars were packed asual for the morning h, so tightly that people stood pressed flesh to flesh, sandwiched between bicycles and the few seats, many without so much as a strap to hold onto. This train didn't lurch, though. It had trouble stopping at all, overshooting platform after platform and missing at least one station entirely as it hed toward the end of the line. The train didn'te to a halt until it had slammed into a metal barrier at Buenos Aires' Once station. With eight cars carrying a mass of steel and humanity -- more than 1200 people on board -- the momentum was devastating. Forty-nine people were killed and 600 were injured.
