IGUS a german Company which builds some glinding-things for industry stuff.
With just some tiny adjustments (and I mean drilling two holes and buying a Tripod-Head), you can use these things to actually build a nice slider on your own.
Funny fact: the most(!) professional Slider-System are actually using IGUS-Parts - so why don't we? :)
It's cheap as crazy, for a sled and a 750mm Rail I paid ca. 100? (I'm living in Germany), and it's strong enough to carry even heavy cameras. I buyed a cheap Velbon PH368-Head (it's the one shipped on the DV7000) and put it on there, beautiful and easy camera-moves are know very easy to handle.
The Video on top is just a small test with this slider (I'm not that kind of person who is talented these precise moves, but it's pretty easy at last!) more

Part 4 of the DVD, "Reef Life of the Andaman", available at Requiem sharks filmed whilst scuba diving in Burma, also known as Myanmar, at the Mergui Archipelago. First we encounter grey reef sharks (Carcharhi amblyrhynchos) in the canyon at Shark Cave, alternatively known as "Three Stooges", "Three Islets" or "In Through The Out Door". We then meet some energetic juvenile silvertip sharks (Carcharhi albimargina) at the Burma Banks. And finally we find whitetip reef sharks (Triaenodon obe) at Fan Forest Pinnacle, near Western Rocky Island, and at the fam Black Rock, both in the Mergui Archipelago. Requiem sharks constitute the family Carcharhinidae in the order Carcharhiniformes. These sharks have sharp teeth, unlike the carpet sharks in the previ episode. Their fins are popular in the shark finning trade, fore in shark fin soup, and I have witnessed encounters with grey reef sharks, silvertip sharks and whitetip reef sharks declining in the years since I shot this video. The full narration is available as English, German or Spanish subtitles by turning on the closed captions (CC). There are also closed captions available showing scientific andmon names of the sharks in English, German or Dutch, along with dive site names.
