Be honest, do you I'm in an honors psychology class today we discussed how attraction and how it differs within culture, and my teacher asked everyone to go around and describe what features they like and don't like in the opposite sex. Nearly every guy there (all of them white) said that they'd date any girl that's in shape regardless of her race as long as she wasn't black. I was humiliated because I'm the only black person in the class and one of the only African American girls in my school. I don't get it. I'm a nice person, I keep to myself, I treat people the way that I want to be treated, yet they had absolutely no regards for my feelings. I already know that black women aren't considered pretty or "equal" in society, but I didn't think that people would be so blatant about their hatred for us.
I understand that everyone has preferences and that's fine, but I feel as if they intentionally wanted to make me feel bad. One of them even said that they think black women look like apes...
No one comforted me and they pretty much ignored me, but I feel like they all hate me just for existing. My teacher (also a white male) told me that I shouldn't take offense and that everyone has preferences. I felt like crying.
So tell me your opinion. Do you think that black people are ugly? Is it something I'm just going to have to deal with? more

We've all had those Teachers back in the day that just make your classes seem to extend forever and ever, you remember the kind, the kind where you have to fight to stay awake! No doubt, academics above all...but sometimes these Teachers should not be teaching!
