Gained back 10 pounds during the school year. Next summer went from 225-->190. Gained back about 20-25 pounds (yeah, I suck at not drinking tons of beer and eating shitty food while drinking). Both of these losses came completely from dieting.
Now to this summer. I am planning on getting from 215-220ish to about 190-195 but with more muscle then I have had (trying to carry the weight a little better). I am following a similar diet to previous summers that worked (5 meals, lots of chicken, greens, etc.) but am working out as well as the working out should keep me in the habit of keeping better care of myself during the school year.
From what I've heard, the best way to workout while trying to both lose weight and tone up is to get a sweat going with some cardio and then do high rep, low weight, intense workouts. For the last couple weeks I have been doing Spartacus 1.0 with 25 lb dumbbells(http://www.brobible.com/bronews/spartacus-workout-10-excercises-sculpt-body). I realize it probably isn't the best, but it seems decent for a arms/core/legs workout.
Supplements - Multivitamin (2 a day), Rivalus M-Power (4 a day), Creatine pills (2 a day), Fish Oil (900 mg - 1 a day), Protein Drink (after workout)
