Follow related website bookmark from Reddit: 24/M/MI/ Looking For Pen Pal In a world of work and spam e-mails and piles of junk in my mailbox I miss the act of writing and receiving mail that is worth reading. I've never had a pen pal before and this seems like a quality place to start, Reddit hasn't let me down....yet.
I'm looking for anyone that's up for writing back and forth. I really don't care what we talk about or where you're from. I wouldn't mind someone internationally, it's always interesting to talk to others from different parts of the world.
A little about me: I got the geek basics, you know sci-fi fantasy books and movies, video games, computers in general and so on. I have a degree in Anthropology with a concentration in Archaeology, you know like Indian Jones but less interesting and I have some fairly interesting stories surrounding some of the excavations I've been on. I currently work in IT, which is about as uninteresting as you think it is, but offers some pretty entertain stories.
In my free time I like to, besides the geek basics, hike, camp, attempt to do photography and work on my racecar...yes I have a racecar, no it's not as exciting as you think it is. Lol.
I also have all the general interests too that everyone seems to have, you know music, movies, reading, whatever else.
I think I have a fairly decent sense of humor too, so I like to work in jokes to my writing.
So ya, I hope I can at least get a few people to correspond with. I don't mind if it's snail mail (it'll give my postal carrier something to do) or email. PM if interested! more

Would anyone know where I can get free magazine subscriptions or mailing lists? (NOT EMAIL). My daughter wants to get "something" in the mail, and she does not even care what.
