In 9th grade we had a physics project where we had to make a book about the physical possibilities of some concepts in a science fiction book. I, naturally, chose Hitchhikers Guide. We were assigned a group and everyone in my group was pretty cool. I, being a leader, divided up what we would do for the project and we all agreed. When it came down to crunch time, we needed a simple cover with the title and our names.
*note* Our physics teacher had a strict rule about names on papers. No name no grade. And it had to be printed, too.
So it was the morning this big project was due, and one of my group members said he had research next and he will do the cover in that class. We get to physics and he didn't have it done. The rest of us flipped shit. It was a 200 point assignment and he had an hour class with full computer and printer access. We tried to convince our teacher to let us print one in his classroom and he said no.
Long (not really) story short, puppy dog eyes worked and we got till the end of the day to do it. But, he had one job. Gave the other four of us serious stress.
So, what's your best one job story that someone did to you, or maybe you did to someone else?
Edit: Well this solidified my knowledge that school will make you lose faith in your generation. I, also, feel a little better about the kid that did it to me. Judging by you guys, it could have been way worse. more
What does success mean to you? Gotta think different.: The Apple Store at "The Grove" in Los Angeles attracts hundreds of visitors a day. This is a very high contrast shot I thought was very interesting.
I got this particular shot actually laying on my back as tourists walked over me, lol. The photograph was actually kind of fun to take. For some reason I felt a renewed and unexplained sense of purpose and freedom when I took this shot.
It was the first time I felt that my new hobby was somehow a part of my purpose in life.
When I think of Apple I think of success...not the average type though. Success by goin' against the grain. Being a leader and not a follower. Never letting anyone hold you back from fulfilling your dreams.

I can see how something as simple as this shot inspires you. There is no mistake you took it. I find photography points me to a higher purpose in life. Something I grately appreciate. It seems like my spirit points my camera for me and says "You need to look more at this here."
