Upon getting to his office he started asking me questions about my sexuality. I opened up to him and told him I was a lesbian because, come on, how mean could he be about it. He then told me he didn't really think I was gay. So i used in in terms he could understand
"Father you loved your wife, right?" (his wife died so he became a priest) He responded yes
"You have female friends that you loved, as in cared about deeply, right?" again he replied yes
"but you admit it's different, right?" he said yes again
"well father i can love girls as a friend, and I can love a girl in a romantic, sexual way."
He replies by telling me he doesn't know what happened in my life to make me choose to be this way. He also tells me I'm wrong for being the way I am, that there is something wrong with me if I "choose to be this way.", and told me I need to find my way back to god or I will spend eternity in hell. All because of this "choice". While I was sitting there in shock, frustration, and tears, he dismissed me back to class.
I know this is likely to get down voted into oblivion, but I really need some support form my fellow atheists and advice on what to do about what I believe is harassment.
