New relationship and not sure if I should just leave it or keep trying. Help!!!
I'm about 25 (female) and the other party in question is also female and we have been seeing each other for about 2 months or so. Quick back story: Met online and started seeing each other. We never had the "talk" about exclusivity but we did touch on the subject. She mentioned that she has dated multiple people at once, to which I expressed that I wasn't thrilled about that but since we were not dating I can't do anything about that. I am naturally a suspicious person (lots of cheaters in my past) and once that was brought up I noticed that when she would be on her phone she would hide it from me, which I thought odd but again, not my place. When we have been together it has been very good and we work well together. I have a lot of fun with her. However, I don't think a single friend of mine likes her. They all say something is off about her and that they are suspicious of her. Fast forward..We both knew I was leaving the country for a while hence the reason we didn't make it official. At this point I am in another country for a month and am contemplating staying another month and coming home. The original plan was to stay for 3 months but I am thinking of shortening it. Recently she has been very distant and since I am a creeper I noticed she started becoming friends with lots of lesbians on facebook. One particular one they now have pictures together etc etc. No big but about 4 days ago we talked and I mentioned wanting to date her when I come back and she again seemed distant. So I said something to the effect (because I want to give her space and we talked about it being ok if she saw others while I was away-no sex though) of, "We had a great time while I was around and that's what it was, we shall see what happens when I get back." She promptly states, "is that all I mean to you?" and that is the last I heard from her. I feel like it was just an excuse to get rid of me but why not just flat out ignore me this whole time anyway? I am far away etc etc. During this whole trip she has been saying there was no one else and that she misses me. I'm not sure what to do...I feel a bit crazy just for a new relationship. I know there were tons of alarm bells but she kept talking about how much she liked me etc etc. I know as I am typing this how stupid I sound just for a new girl. I think it's because I came out of a very long and loving relationship and she is my first rebound one. Quick things of note: I have messed up a total of about 4 times thus far 1.) she left me at a bar and while drunk (it was my going away party) I defriended her 2.) she told me she had been "with" others to which i took as slept with (I said i wasn't cool with that and she got upset since she didn't "mean it" like that only that she went on dates 3.) right before I left I got all pathetic and kinda half asked to date her via text (I KNOW BETTER THAN THAT) but I think leaving got me all scared to be alone OOK, so the question is reddit...Do I just walk away from this trainwreck, do I try to figure out what's going on instead of just guessing, do I chalk up my losses, defriend her and call it a day? Thank you guys so much for listening to my first world white girl problems. =( (considering I am in a third world country this makes it all the more pathetic in my eyes) TL;DR while in another country, little lesbian falls for online girl who is probably seeing someone else and not sure what to do more
