I'm tired of having to hide my interests for fear of people thinking I'm messed up. (x-post)
I like horror movies. I like gothic clothing. I like some Anime. I like video games. I like lolita styles. I like gore. I like unusual pictures. I like psychological thrillers. I like reading dark novels. I like porn. NOBODY would ever know these things unless I told them. I don't act like a particularly fucked up person, and I'm just your average female, wearing jeans and a nice blouse. But apparently when people find out I like some odd things, I'm Satan's spawn. But that doesn?t mean that I also don?t like puppies and kittens, rainbows, comedies, game shows, cooking, nature, love, family-friendly environments, animals, my boyfriend, my friends, ?happy? fashion, and other rather lovely, fantastic things. Whenever I mention my favorite movie, ?Silence of the Lambs? people always assume I?m some sort of emo, goth freak that goes around wishing I could kill people. Fuck no. The reason I like the movie is because it was the first of it?s kind, and it?s a fucking amazing movie. Look at Anthony Hopkins! That man is my fucking favorite actor, how dare you demean him by calling his movie "fucked up". See it for the beauty that it is, you ignorant shit. I do not dress in clothes that are dark, drab and full of chains. In fact, I wear jeans and a preppy t-shirt most days. The occasional dress. But fuck, do I love looking at people who have the balls and creativity to dress as such. I love looking at the latest creative gothic lolita clothing. Doesn?t mean I?d ever wear it, but I admire it. I like some anime, not a lot. My favorite is Full Metal Alchemist, but that?s the only series I?ve completed. That doesn?t make me a wee-a-boo freak, or a Japanese-wannabe. I fucking love video games. I love Pokemon. I love Yu-Gi-Oh. I love Runescape. I love the Mario games. I love Brawl. I love The Legend of Zelda. I love Skyrim. I love World of Warcraft. I love Lead and Gold. I love Team Fortress 2. I love League of Legends. Andfuck youif you think I?m some sort of anti-social shut-in because of it.They?re fun. Not a definition of my damn personality. Look at my motherfucking Tumblr. Of course I like weird pictures. Fuck. My bookshelf is 3/4 murder stories and serial killer profiles. Fuck you, it interests me. Does that mean that I want to follow their example and go around killing people? no. does that mean that I find their minds interesting (not ideal) and want to understand what went wrong with them? Yes. I like fictional stories with all sorts of mentally deranged people. It keeps me engaged. The 1/4 that isn?t psychological thrillers, is fucking FANTASY NOVELS. Fuck, I love those. I?m finishing the Warhammer series right now. Got a problem with that? cool. fuck you. Porn is great. I?m a female. Apparently watching porn makes me a horrible dirty slut. What the fuck? I also masturbate! Does that make a filthy whore? Sorry, if it does, then I will gladly accept my whore status. Porn relieves the sexual tension that I know almost EVERY SINGLE teenager harbors.
