After a few months transpire he found out that she was on a ton of anti-psychotic medication. Also, he found out that she was wrecking around with hard drugs like cocaine and meth and popped other people's prescription pills like candy. He should have walked away, but the first time he tried to break up with her she went into the bathroom and slit her wrists. Ambulance, crying family members on edge in hospital lobby - whole nine yards. On Christmas day he got a selfpic from her. She was wearing lingerie, making the duckface, trying to pose sexy, and wearing bandages around her wrists. I will not be able to shake this image from my mind for as long as I live. My brother felt like he was absolutely stuck with her for life. He didn't want the weight of a potential suicide on his conscious. He slowly weaned her off of him and tried to start putting his life back together, but now she's pulling the pregnant card. She says she took tests and they all came up positive. He bought a test and demanded to see the results for himself, but she refused to take it if he was going to see it. He tried to argue his case to her, but she ran away (literally, turned and sprinted away) and was completely off the grid for two days. This chick weighs 85 pounds, takes any form of drug she can find, sometimes decides she doesn't want to take her anti-psychotics, has something like 5 suicide attempts under her belt, and refuses to give fast-hard evidence supporting a pregnancy. He's 18 and just started college and does not need/want a kid. He already has two jobs as it is just to pay for school and an apartment. What can he do? If she's really pregnant, what are the odds that the state will take the kid? What would be the process for obtaining custody/putting the kid up for adoption?
