My grandpa's been in a lot of pain lately and he's unable to go up/down the stairs to his normal bed. He's been sleeping on our old living room couch for the past two nights and it just seems really uncomfortable. The couch is not big enough nor is the padding good for him so I'm trying to purchase a somewhat nice inflatable bed for him to sleep on for the time being.

Shearings didn't keep them long because as built, they were totally un-reliable, to the point that their longer distance duties were handed back to the Fords. The oil return pipe from the large single pot compressor wasn't up to the job, the oil couldn't get away causing 'hydraulic-ing' in the crank case of the unit. It's a shame really that DAF didn't leave the Leyland style compressor on the 11.6 engine when they built there version of the Leyland 680.
